Description
Students in this "COOP / Internship" programme develop specialized English language skills relating to their career field through a combination of English classes, a Job Skills Seminar and a period of full-time work training in a Canadian company. Work experience is usually unpaid although paid internships are available in special circumstances. Placements can be made in a number of fields including: banking, finance, accounting, media, fisheries, event management, travel, hospitality, IT and sales.

Description
Students in this "COOP" program improve their English language skills through a combination of English classes, a Job Skills Seminar and a period of full-time paid work in a service position in a Canadian tourism, retail or hospitality company. You can work as many hours as you study. The English Co-OP Program has two program options: the Standard Program Option and the Full Service Option. The Standard Program Option is designed for students who can find their own job with a little help from Tamwood. The Full Service Option is designed so that the student is placed with well established Tamwood approved employer. Employers include ski resorts, major hotels, restaurants, shops, cafes, bars, tour operators, sports providers, summer camps and much more. Description
This course prepares students for the University of Cambridge ESOL First Certificate (FCE) exam, which students take in the final week of the program. The FCE is at Level 3 of the Cambridge five level system.
Through a balanced curriculum students will expand and reinforce their knowledge of the various skills they utilize in writing the 5 papers set by Cambridge. Practice Exams and compositions are an integral part of the programme.
Students in the 8 week course join the 10 / 12 week course in
progress.
University of Cambridge CAE Preparation

Description
This course prepares students for the University of Cambridge ESOL Certificate in Advanced English exam, which students take in the final week of the program. The FCE is at Level 4 of the Cambridge five level system. This exam is an important certification for students who want to work overseas in jobs that require English language skills (such as medicine, business and engineering).
Through a balanced curriculum students will expand and reinforce their knowledge of the various skills they utilize in writing the 5 papers set by Cambridge. Practice Exams and compositions are an integral part of the program.

Description
The International Business English course is designed to give students the English skills they need to work effectively in today's global market place. English skills and vocabulary are developed through exercises, case studies, role plays and research on business topics including: I.T., finance, accounting, marketing, advertising, sales, negotiation, business practices, and cultural comparisons in business operations
and structure.
