LOS ANGELES CAMP
The Los Angeles camp is located at the Sunset Village on the UCLA campus.
It is a residential area of Westwood and bordered by Bel-Air, Beverly Hills and Brentwood. This central Los Angeles location makes it the perfect place for this summer camp which is so rich in sightseeing excursions.
Los Angeles
Los Angeles, known by many different names: Tinsel Town, the City of Angels even La-La Land, might be because Los Angeles means so many different things to people. Combined with terrific weather, Los Angeles is a great place for vacation, it's home to many famous attractions with plenty of amusement parks, architectural landmarks, art museum and galleries, beaches, parks, hiking and shopping, to name a few.

July 1, and every Sunday up to July 29, 2012 (minimum one week, maximum five weeks)
Ages
7 to 17 years of age (Open to Groups and Individuals)
English Classes
15 hours per week
On their first day, students are tested and assigned to an English class based on their level. Students follow a carefully designed curriculum that stresses all English skills including speaking, reading, writing, grammar, listening and vocabulary.
Activities and Excursions
Campers take part in instructional activities 3 half days a week. Tamwood certified coaches and teachers lead students in such activities as mountain biking, field sports, arts and crafts, dancing, drama and leadership skills. Students also enjoy fun activities including swimming, tournaments, games...
In the evenings and Sundays, students in residence have social activities and the chance to take part in some optional activities. This camp also includes lots of sightseeing. Each week campers will enjoy a full day excursion to places such as Disneyland, Sea World San Diego and Knott’s Berry Farm Amusement Park. Campers also go on one or two half-day excursions each week to some famous tourist attractions in Los Angeles. All excursions are included in the price and campers are always supervised by Tamwood’s competent and friendly staff.
