SAN FRANCISCO CAMP
The San Francisco camp is located on a very modern and clean campus and has many facilities. The location of the camp makes it very safe for young people and also accessible to all of the best San Francisco attractions. Tamwood uses many of the campuses facilities including its modern classrooms, residence, cafeteria and sports facilities.
San Francisco
Among spectacular natural beauty, San Francisco is recognized as one of the world's most livable cities. The city is located at the tip of the San Francisco Peninsula, with the Pacific Ocean to the west, San Francisco Bay to the east, and the Golden Gate to the north.
Surrounded by water San Francisco is home to spectacular natural scenery and a bustling metropolitan core, and boasts a mild climate.
San Francisco is a popular international tourist destination famous for its landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the cable cars, Coit Tower and China Town, its steep rolling hills, and its eclectic mix of architecture. The city is also known for its diverse, cosmopolitan population. With long beaches, lots of nature, lots of culture and history, San Francisco is a wonderful place for young people to live and learn.

| English Classes |
15 hours per week
On their first day, students are tested and assigned to an English class based on their level. Students follow a carefully designed curriculum that stresses all English skills including speaking, reading, writing, grammar, listening and vocabulary. |
| Activities and Excursions |
Campers take part in instructional activities 3 half days a week. Tamwood certified coaches and teachers lead students in such activities as mountain biking, field sports, arts and crafts, dancing, drama and leadership skills. Students also enjoy fun activities including swimming, tournaments, games...
In the evenings and Sundays, students in residence have lots of social activities and the chance to take part in some optional activities. This camp also includes lots of sightseeing. Each week campers will enjoy a full day excursion to places such as Alcatraz Island, Aquarium of the Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, Wax Museum, Ripley's Believe it or Not, California Great Theme Park, Union Square and parks and beaches. Campers also go on one or two half-day excursions each week to some of the most famous tourist attractions in San Francisco. All excursions are included in the price and campers are always supervised by Tamwood capable staff. |
