Summer - Simon Fraser University - Residential and Host Family
Summer Camp for Juniors 7-12
Summer Program for Teens 13-17
Both the Summer Camp for Juniors 7-12 and the Teen Summer Program for teens 13-18 combine English classes with instructional and recreational activities, sightseeing tours and social and cultural events. The goals of these programs are to teach students English, to educate them about the world through integration with students and staff of different cultures, to raise their awareness of international issues, to teach them valuable skills that will last their life time and to give them a wonderful and memorable experience. All aspects of both programs including the classes, activities, staff, tours, meals and accommodation, are designed to ensure that these goals are achieved.
English Classes
3 hours per day of classes, 5 days per week
Small classes (maximum 15 students per class)
English classes rotate from morning to afternoon on a weekly basis
Initial placement test and regular evaluations are given to ensure students are at the correct level.
Curriculum designed to be challenging but also interesting for young people
Program Schedules
Mini University & Career Pathway Camp (Ages 13-18): This innovative teen camp program combines experiential learning in ecology, entrepreneurship and conservation with teambuilding and leadership for social change.
