Here's a summary of what's happening at school this week (July 1st - 4th).
Monday – No school!!
Activity: No Activity. Suggestion: Explore the supermarket for new food names! Tuesday – Tamwood is happy to welcome 24 new students! All new students should be at school by 8:30. If you are a new student, please check in with Emma, Tamwood’s Campus Manager, or Tamwood’s receptionist, Diana. New students should join Allison for the city tour. The city tour starts at 1:45 and takes about an hour. Activity: Canada Day Party: Join your friends and celebrate Canada’s birthday at Jericho beach! Bring your sunscreen and flip flops. Wednesday – First full day of classes for new students. If you have any questions about the levels of any of your classes, please speak with Emma after your classes have finished. Some students will have an interview with Emma. How was your first week at Tamwood? Are you graduating? If you are, meet Emma in the computer room at 1:00 for a short graduation meeting. Make sure you become part of the “Tamwood Alumni.” Activity: Movie Night: The Bucket List, a hilarious comedy that comes with free popcorn! Thursday – Tomorrow is graduation day. If you’re graduating, don’t forget to give your graduation form to your Block 1 teacher and join our Tamwood Alumni at www.tamwood.com. Make sure to study for tomorrow’s test and ask for help on your presentations if you need it! Activity: Pool Tournament! Now you can become the champion of the pool table!! Friday – Graduation day!Come see your fellow Tamwood students graduate. Thank you for choosing Tamwood. We'll miss you! Activity: Granville Island Brewery!!
