News from the Campus Manager
Here's a summary of what's happening at school this week (August 5th – 8th).
Monday – No school!! BC Day Activity: No Activity. Suggestion: Rent bikes and enjoy the sunshine in Stanley Park! Tuesday – Tamwood is happy to welcome 25 new students! All new students should be at school by 8:30. If you are a new student, please check in with Emma, Tamwood’s Campus Manager, or Tamwood’s receptionist, Diana. New students should join Kaz for the city tour. The city tour starts at 1:45 and takes about an hour. Activity: Gastown – Come see the oldest part of Vancouver and pick up some cheap souvenirs. Wednesday – This is the first full day of classes for new students. If you have any questions about the levels of any of your classes, please speak with Emma after your classes have finished. Are you graduating? If you are, meet Emma in the computer room at 1:00 for a short graduation meeting. Make sure you become part of the “Tamwood Alumni.” Activity: Sports Day at the Beach – Volleyball, hackey sack, Frisbee…it’s all here for you to enjoy! Thursday – Tomorrow is graduation day. If you’re graduating, don’t forget to give your graduation form to your Block 1 teacher and join our Tamwood Alumni at www.tamwood.com. Make sure to study for tomorrow’s test and ask for help on your presentations if you need it! Activity: Conversation Club! Enjoy an afternoon chat with Aaron over a drink or two. Friday – Graduation day! Come see your fellow Tamwood students graduate. Thank you for choosing Tamwood. We’ll miss you! Activity: Spaghetti Factory!
