English + Activity (Family)
Why let your kids have all the fun? You can travel together and experience a family learning holiday this winter or summer vacation! While the kids are learning and exploring with their peers in a Tamwood Camp program, adults build their own English fluency and skills at Tamwood Language Centres close by and enjoy self-arranged activities such as spa services, museum and gallery visits, sightseeing and more. Your child will happily return to you in the evenings and on Sundays to have family time together.
How about a day well-spent at one of Vancouver’s beautiful beaches or a ferry trip to Vancouver Island to discover B.C.’s charming capital, Victoria? Tamwood can gladly provide suggestions and assistance in booking sightseeing, event and restaurant reservations.

Kids join Tamwood Camps Whistler, while parents learn at the Tamwood Language Centre in Whistler.
Weekly Schedule
For Kids & Teens: This program consists of 20 x 45 minute English lessons per week.
For Parents: This program consists of 15-32 x 45 minute English lessons per week
This includes professional instruction in academic skills for university settings, fun and educational cultural events, sightseeing and social activities, as well as organized instruction in a range of sports, creative, and cultural activities.

Admission Requirements
Ages: Adults – 18+, Kids – 12-18 (Vancouver) & 7-17 (Whistler)
English Level: Beginner to Advanced. You should be open to learning in an intercultural environment and motivated to use English with our camp team leaders and their peers. Language of instruction will be in English only.
Documents: Your child and you will either need a tourist visa, an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), or in some cases only a passport. Check which travel authorization you and your child need here
Vaccination Status: Every camper has to be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to entry to Canada.

Campers take part in activities both on and off campus. Activities offered are structured so campers learn new skills and improve existing skills under the organized coaching and leadership of trained Tamwood staff.
