Summer Camp Positions
Spend the summer of a lifetime working with international youth at Tamwood International Camps!
Tamwood International Camps is hiring staff to work at its summer camps in Canada and the United States. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
Tamwood International Camps offers young people between the ages of 7 and 17 the chance to learn English in a welcoming, fun environment as well as the option to try activities like rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, art, dance, and more. Our campers will enjoy sightseeing excursions, dance parties, talent shows, adventure races, and other events guaranteed to be fun! Campers will develop new skills like decision making, independence, and the ability to try new things. Campers will make friends from around the world and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Our carefully chosen staff provide a warm friendly atmosphere for our students to learn and grow. Our staff gain valuable experience with teaching, cross-cultural communication, outdoor leadership instruction, and more. Tamwood offers comprehensive staff training, a competitive salary, and opportunities for advancement.
Note: There will be training for the Camps Staff before the Summer Camps.
The contract period will be from late June to Mid-August; Camp period will be July 2 – August 13, 2023

Note: We are accepting applications from both American and international staff for all positions at our USA summer camps. If you are a Canadian post-secondary student, you are eligible to apply for a J1 Summer Work and Travel work permit

Vancouver @ Simon Fraser University
Summer camps in Vancouver are located at the Burnaby Campus of the prestigious Simon Fraser University, at the summit of Burnaby Mountain overlooking beautiful Vancouver. Downtown is a short 25 minutes from campus.

Toronto Camps at the University of Toronto
The University of Toronto Mississauga campus is located approximately 33 km west of Downtown Toronto and set upon the valley of the Credit River across a large, treed lot. It is the second-largest of the three University of Toronto campuses. In 2017 the U of T Mississauga proudly celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Montreal Camps at Concordia University
Concordia University has two campuses set approximately 7 kilometres apart. Sir George Williams Campus is the main campus, located in downtown Montreal, and Loyola Campus is in the residential district of Notre-Dame-de-Grace.

Los Angeles Camps at University of California
Tamwood’s summer camp is located at the University of California at Los Angeles. It is situated in the residential area of Westwood and bordered by Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, and Brentwood. Its central Los Angeles location makes it the perfect place for this summer camp which is so rich in sightseeing excursions.
New York Camps at Fordham University
Tamwood’s summer camp is located at the University of Fordham in New York City. It is situated in a residential area close to the New York Botanical Garden and the Bronx Zoo. Its central New York location makes it the perfect place for this summer camp which is so rich in green spaces to make outdoor activities.
