Teen Winter Camp in Vancouver & Toronto
Tamwood Winter Teen Camp is a program specially designed for young students who are interested in learning English and enjoying excursions, winter sports, and fun activities during the beautiful Canadian winter.
The camp offers the same high-quality instruction and organization that has made Tamwood famous around the world. Our English instructors are university-trained teachers who have extensive experience working with young people and all activities are led by qualified and caring staff.
Students have English lessons in the mornings and take part in different sports, social, and sightseeing activities in the afternoon and evenings. Students can live with a Canadian family or in a self-arranged accommodation with their parents, relatives, or friends.
Vancouver
Experience Vancouver in the winter! While the city of Vancouver rarely gets snow (the average daytime temperatures range from 0-10° celsius) the mountains nearby get a lot of snow, making it the perfect spot to learn to ski or snowboard. The program offers English classes, sports, recreational and cultural activities and exciting excursions, including snow tubing, snowshoeing, and a day trip to Whistler. Accommodations include homestays, giving students the chance to experience life with a Canadian family.
Toronto
Toronto is the most popular city in Canada as well as the provincial capital of Ontario. It is located in Southern Ontario on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario. As the largest Canadian city with 2.8 million residents, Toronto is the 4th largest city in North America. Toronto is home to some of the best Canadian’s cultural and tourism sites in Canada including Niagara Falls, the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, Queens Park, the theatres district and much more. Toronto is also home to Canada’s only Major league baseball and basketball teams. The city is home to more than 70 film festivals, 200 professional performing arts organizations, internationally recognized symphony, ballet and opera companies, countless commercial and not-for-profit galleries and museums, and much more.
Winter Camp Weekly Schedule
