  Campus Eats

Our Whistler campus is located in the centre of the Whistler village and therefore offers tons of food choices in close walking distance. Make sure to try all the local pubs during your stay in Whistler, such as 21 Steps, The Keg, Earls Kitchen + Bar, Stonesedge Kitchen and Buffalo Bill’s Bar & Grill. If you are on the go, you will also find take-out options nearby like Tim Hortons, Subway and Starbucks.

  Accommodations

Whistler is a popular and famous tourist resort and as such the permanent population is quite small as the workforce is mostly seasonal workers who live in shared housing or employer-supplied housing.  This means that accommodations with host families are not as available as they are in cities like Vancouver and Toronto. Tamwood cannot guarantee that students will get host family accommodation if they study in Whistler. While Tamwood does have some contracted host families we recommend that students, especially short-term students, view their stay in Whistler as vacation and be prepared to book and pay for accommodations in a hotel, youth hostel, Airbnb rental, or other such vacation properties.
