Tamwood announces a new Tamwood Academic Pathway to Capilano University for all Business Programs.

May 3, 2021

Press release

Tamwood Careers College (“Tamwood”) announces a new Tamwood Academic Pathway to Capilano University (“Capilano”) for all Business Programs. International students wanting to immigrate to Canada and seeking a Post-Graduate Work Permit now have more options to do so with Tamwood.  Students who complete any of the one-year diploma programs in business at Tamwood can now transfer up to 30 credits from Tamwood Careers into a diploma or degree program at Capilano. This means students can take fewer courses at Capilano and still graduate with a credential from Capilano and qualify for a post-graduation work permit.

Not everyone can afford the tuition fees for two or more years of studies at Capilano University, and not everyone has the required English level for direct admission to Capilano. Such students can now start their studies in a Tamwood Careers’ Business program, such as International Business Management Diploma, Digital Marketing Diploma, Applied Diploma in Innovation & Entrepreneurship etc., and transfer, with advanced standing, into Capilano.   Tamwood offers co-op work and study programs in Business with multiple intakes per year, lower English admission requirements than a university, and affordable tuition prices giving international students the opportunity to come to Canada sooner, study for less cost and benefit in their first year from the small class sizes and personal support Tamwood provides.

Capilano University accepts Tamwood’s pathway students into Diploma in Business Administration, Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and North American Business Post Baccalaureate Diploma, giving Tamwood students a lot of choice and a great number of transferrable credits.

Tamwood’s new Academic Pathways to Capilano University guarantees that Tamwood graduates can transfer up to 30 credits into a program at Capilano, which cuts future tuition costs and gives students more free time while studying at Capilano for work and their personal life in Canada.

Capilano’s School of Business in Vancouver is very renowned and respected.  All programs focus on gaining practical skills in small classes. Tamwood prepares students for post-secondary studies at public universities giving graduates a higher chance of achieving academic success and finding a great job on graduation.
