International Business
Develop a global perspective on modern business.
In an increasingly global economy, understanding broad trends is equally as important as understanding operational processes such as export processes, international business planning, and identifying international opportunities. The course explores the manager's role within the dynamic global environment of business management by examining the political, legal, technological, competitive, and cultural factors that shape corporations worldwide.
Emphasis will be placed on the increasingly globalized nature of business, including the rise of the internet, the third and fourth industrial revolutions, and accelerated market shifts that require new processes, strategies, and models.
In Vancouver, this program has been approved by PTIRU of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills.

Vancouver Admission Requirements
Language skills
Applicants may demonstrate proof of English-language proficiency in one of the following ways:
- Submit evidence of completion of three years of full-time secondary education (Grades 8–12) from a country where English is one of the principal languages.
- Submit evidence of completion of two years of full-time post-secondary education completed in English in a country where English is one of the principal languages.
- Submit evidence of graduation from a language program with a minimum grade or level from a Languages Canada accredited institution with an established pathway or articulation agreement allowing direct entry, without further testing, to a diploma or degree program at a public institution in Canada. The agreement must be current at the date of enrollment.
- Submit valid, official evidence of achievement on a recognized standardized language test or assessment approved by PTIRU. The test must have been taken within the last two years.
